Volunteer time
Whether it's an afternoon or an hour, your time makes a huge difference to our children and staff. Help further our children's education by assisting during a homework session or give a hand in the kitchen for lunch. Join in on a game of cricket with the boys or bake a cake with the girls during playtime. There are a number of opportunities for you to volunteer your time and make an impact in the lives of our children.
Donate goods
Any clothes that have been out-grown, an old tennis racket, a pencil bag - what may seem like an old and insignificant item to you can become a treasured, new possession to one of our children. We are most grateful for any goods that are donated to us and have highlighted the items that we are in need of most urgently on our wishlist. Donations of food items like jam, peanut butter, tinned meats, rice, flour, tea, sugar, milk and mielie meal make a huge difference when it comes to out- weekends and holidays for the children as do snacks for their lunchboxes like fruit, energy bars and juices. The smallest item can make a world of difference.
Monetary donations
We welcome any monetary donations, great or small, that may assist us in maintaining our home and ensuring that our children are provided with their everyday needs. In addition to the counseling services provided by qualified staff at the Children's Home, many of our children attend Animal Assisted Therapy. We wish to enroll 16 children in the program this year and are seeking sponsorship to help cover the costs of the therapy. For more info on how you can sponsor a child click here.
